This was my reaction when a team of 15 people from 5 churches in TX came to do ministry in Constanta being involved in doing street evangelism with our church and doing children ministry at the YWAM Day Center. The 5 days they spent at the Day Center were Christmas days: they shared the Gospel with the children, brought t-shirts, shorts, shoes, amazing crafts, visited the children’s families and gave them food and blankets. Also some of them bought underwear for the children, toys for playing on the beach and fish to express the story in the Bible with Jesus multiplying the fish and the bread! They fish are still alive and their names are: George (the team named it) and Andrew and Philip (the children named them like the disciples mentioned in the story 🙂
The team also blessed the children by offering Happy Meal for lunch one day as we celebrated one of the girl’s birthday! Also the team brought the necesasry funds for the Day Center to buy a new fridge because the old that’s being used since the Center opened, 7 years ago, was leaking and not working properly.
This team was a team of servants as they moped the floor, cleaned the bathrooms, huged and put some children to sleep, played and prayed for them. We are VERY grateful to all of those who were a part of this special time by coming, praying and giving to make this mission trip possible! THANK YOU SO MUCH TX TEAM!!!
